Buying and Selling Real Estate in Seattle’s Changing Market

Well it is time for a few New Year resolutions.

December 31st, 2007 · 3 Comments

With this blog still in it’s early development, I have many resolutions to take it to the next level:

  • 4 Posts a week
  • Increase RSS subscribers from 18 to 50
  • Post monthly Market Statistics for Seattle’s main neighborhoods
  • Hold one first-time buying seminar each month starting in February
  • Grow my network of co-operating authors and find at least one guest author each week.

For personal resolutions, my wife and I are expecting our first child in August.  I will be learning how to work more efficiently to keep the same output of work while decreasing the amount of time that I spend doing it.  I am going to need all the time I can to prepare for our coming child.

I hope you have your resolutions for the new year, and wish you luck in achieving them. I know that the more people that know my resolutions, the more people that keep me accountable to them, the more likely I am to reach them.  What are yours?

    Jonathan-
Those are very ambitious goals. I am interested in how you plan to increase your # of RSS feed readers. (Great content always helps I guess).

I would be happy to guest write a post if you have something in mind. (and would be happy to have you write a post for us as well.)

    good luck,

    Geordie-
    Lets talk about guest posting.

As for increasing the number of RSS readers, my goal has a few stages. First and foremost to creat great content that people want to read and link to. Then to connect with as many non-real estate bloggers that I can, join their networks and spur conversation. Then spread out to other states with other real estate blogs.

I want to first connect with other bloggers because they most likely know how to use RSS and for their ability to link to generate that good ol Google Juice.

Hey there. I just found your site today. This is great information. We publish On-Site, a newspaper for the property / apartment management and real estate investor industry in the Puget Sound area and I’m always lookign for good sources. I’ll stop by from time to time and link to what will relate to our readers.
